The repo that holds your notes, as owner/name.

Subfolder the app reads/writes within. Leave as notes or blank for repo root.

Enter your repo above and this button pre-fills the token name, owner, and the exact permissions (Contents: Read and write + Metadata: Read). On GitHub, pick an expiration (a short one is safer), set Repository access → Only select repositories → your repo, click Generate token, and paste it below. A token that can reach other repos is rejected. The blast radius stays just this one repo.

You’ll enter this each time you open the app here. No recovery: forget it and you just create a new token.
